Candidates' Call-in Forum cablecast by Cable Co-op; live mapping by PGC.
The live Candidates' Forum Web page will be updated continuously throughout the forum so that it reflects the latest comments by candidates, audience and callers. Viewers can simply hit "RELOAD" in their browser at any time to see the latest version.
To our knowledge, this simulcast is the first time that live Web pages are being used along with television to provide simultaneous and complimentary coverage of an event in the two media. It represents a useful way for local origination telecommunications to support the political process.
And, it's after June 11 so the election results are in!
In addition to the real-time Webcast by The Performing Graphics Company, there is also background information on the candidates.

Or you can take a minute to point and click your way through our simulcast survey; viewer input is critical as we try to design and develop the methodology.
If you have trouble seeing all the text, it will help to tell your Web browser to use a smaller font.
In Netscape, select OPTIONS, then PREFERENCES;
in Mosaic: OPTIONS, Fonts.
If you can print PostScript at your site, you can always retrieve the latest full graphics-integral-with-text version of the Meeting Page simply by clicking on the "POSTSCRIPT VERSION" button at the bottom of the page. Then the browser options will allow you to save the PostScript file to your local file system for printing.
And to download for further computer editing, use the "TEXT-ONLY VERSION" button at the bottom of the Meeting Page. This will take you to a pure ASCII text-only version for use in your word processor. Once there, follow the instructions you find on that page.
Cable Co-op is aware of this project, but we at PGC are operating as independent "Web journalists" and are solely responsible for the contents of the Web pages, which do not in any way reflect the opinions of Cable Co-op or its management.
